Karim Baradei is a London-based artist whose work explores the unconscious mind, streams of thought, and the fluid nature of identity. With a background in Architecture and Fine Arts from the Lebanese American University and a Master’s degree in Fine Art from De Montfort University, his practice sits between structure and instinct, combining formal awareness with expressive, intuitive mark-making. His work investigates the tension between control and spontaneity, often visualising internal processes and psychological states through layered compositions and evolving forms. Influenced in part by his experience with OCD, his practice engages with repetition, intrusion, and the persistence of thought, translating these into visual rhythms and gestures. Baradei has exhibited internationally, including Androgyny in Leicester and Gestures of Life in Beirut, and continues to develop a body of work that reflects the complexity and depth of the human experience.
